Vom Parkplatz der Karwendelbahn folgen wir dem Wanderzeichen A1 bis zum Gassellahnbach. Nun gehts bergauf in Richtung Hochlandhütte 2h 1623m. Anschliessend weiter in Richtung Kälberalm. Der Weg führt erst leicht eben, bis er dann in Serpentienen abwärts geht. Nun folgen wir dem Weg in Richtung Dammkarhütte 2:35h 1667m. Ab hier führt der Weg steil durch das Dammkar in Richtung Bergstation 1:40h 2384 das wohl schönste Stück der Tour. Mit der Seilbahn geht es wieder ins Tal.
