Von Frauenwald über den Wanderweg nach Schmiedefeld. Am Ortsausgang links über kurzen Trail ins Vessertal. Nach kurzer Abfahrt geht es über einen Waldweg bergauf zur Vesser Quelle. Weiter links Richtung Wegscheide, die Straße überqueren und Wald/Schotterweg entlang bis zum Rennsteigwanderweg. Über diesen zurück nach Frauenwald. Kurze schöne Tour durch das Biosphärenreservat Vessertal.
