Die Wanderung beginnt am Bahnhof in Obergries. Wir überqueren die Isar und gehen in Richtung Arzbach. Nach dem Ort Lain wandern wir meist auf Pfaden über Wiesen und haben auf unserer linken Seite einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge (Heibelkopf und Zwieselberg). In Bad Tölz gelangen wir auf den Kogelweg, der uns schließlich über die Schützenstraße und Badstrasse über die Isar bis zu unserem Ziel, dem Bahnhof von Bad Tölz führt.
