Wir starten unsere Tour am BOB-Bahnhof in Bad Tölz und gehen die Bahnhofstraße bis in die Marktstraße hinunter. Hier biegen wir rechts in die Jägergasse ein und wandern etwa 500 Meter am Hochufer der Isar entlang. Wir verlassen die Isar und gehen auf gut geräumten Wegen (Faistweg) in Richtung Ellbach. Dabei haben wir einen schönen Blick auf die Alpenkette. Wir durchqueren das Ellbachmoor bis zum Ort Obermühlberg. Von dort führt unser Weg wieder zurück nach Bad Tölz zum Bahnhof. Eine gute Einkehrmöglichkeit ist das Tölzer Bräustüberl in der Bahnhofstraße.
