Vom Wanderparkplatz an der Verbindungsstraße B173 nach Presseck über Köstenschmölz (Wanderheim Frankenwaldverein) auf die Anhöhe bei Köstenhof. Anschließend bergab nach Fels (Einkehrmöglichkeit http://www.gasthoffels.de) und dann auf einem Pfad (später Forstweg) an der "Wilden Rodach" entlang zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Eine landschaftlich sehr schöne Tour auf ruhigen Pfaden und Wegen mit schönen Aussichtspunkten.
