Start auf einem kostenlosen Parkplatz, kurze Fahrt durch Siedlung, dann Auffahrt über Forststraßen (Beschildert als "310 - Stadtberg".
Ab der Bergstation des Kaiserliftes ( Berggasthof Aschenbrenner) wird der Weg dann schöner, über das Brentenjoch (1272m) es geht auch mal ein Stück bergab (vielleicht 100hm),
Weiter auf Forststraße bis zur Kaindlhütte.
Ab dort Wanderung auf das Hochegg und dann Wanderung hinab zum Gasthaus Walleralm.
Anschließend wieder Forststraßen bis zurück zum Parkplatz.
Unterwegs kommt man durch eine Pferdekoppel, ein Kieswerk und passiert die Locherkapelle.
Zusammenfassung: Forststraße hoch, Wanderung von ca. 3 km, dann wieder Forststraße.
Nur wenige Trailpassagen.
