Starpunkt ist der Rennsteiggarten (Rondell), dann geht es auf dem Rennsteig Richtung Grenzadler. Nach einigen Kilometern geht es rechts ab Richtung Schmalwasser Talsperre, diese umfährt man und hat einen herrlichen Blick auf die Talsperre. Weiter geradelt kommt man zur Ohratalsperre und nach Überquerung der Bundesstrasse gelangt man zur Lütschetalsperre. Von dort aus gehtes in Richtung Oberhof zurück.
