Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz im Untertal bei der Waldhäuslalm. Von dort geht der beschilderte Wanderweg ca. 4 km zu den Riesachfällen. Hier hat man die Möglichkeit verschiedene Rundwege durch das Wasserfallgebiet zu machen.
Hinweis: Das Gasthaus bei den Riesachfällen ist im Winter nicht bewirtschaftet.
Option: Forststraße hinauf zum Riesachsee (ca. 260 hm; für Mountenbiken leider nicht erlaubt).
Zurück gehen wir auf der wenig befahrenen Straße. Da der Weg gut ausgebaut und flach ist, ist diese Wanderung auch Kinderwagen-Tauglich.
