Vom Küstenort Vada aus über Cecina und Bibbona nach Casale Marittimo. Nach Querung der stärker befahrenen Straße Cecina-Volterra über eine ruhige Nebenstraße bis zur Ortschaft Miemo. Die Abfahrt über schlechten Asphalt bis zum Abzweig nach Chianni. Nun wieder über ruhige Nebenstraßen Richtung Castellina Marittima.
Die lange Abfahrt führt über Rosgnano Marittimo zurück nach Vada.
Insbesondere der Blick von der Passhöhe bei KM 70 über die Küsten ist herrlich.
