Die Wanderung führt von Homert im Sauerland zur Fürwiggetalsperre und zurück.
Die Tour ist sehr abwechselungsreich. Teilweise asphaltierte Straße, teilweise Tramelpfade durch den Wald.
An der Fürwigge Talsperre kann es schon mal etwas belebter sein. An einigen Stellen hört man die nahegelegene Autobahn A45.
