sehr heiß

Bin die Tour am 15.06.2011 gefahren. Lanzarote ist bekanntlich eine Vulkaninsel und bietet deshalb sehr wenig Vegetation und auch sonst so gut wie keine Schattenspender. Insbesondere der nordwestliche Teil der Tour geht über mehr als 10 km (ab ca. km 25 bis ca. km 36) auf zum Teil sehr losem Untergrund durch die Lava-Gesteinswüste. Da sich die dunklen Lavasteine auch noch von der Sonne aufheizen, ist dieser Teil auch ohne übermäßige Steigungen nicht zu verachten. Auf außreichend Flüssigkeit und einen guten Sonnenschutz ist hier besonders zu achten. Wer die Tour so wie ich alleine fährt sollte zudem etwas mentale Stärke mitbringen, da zu der Hitze auch noch die Einsamkeit kommt. Hier triffst Du Niemanden. Diese Gegend ist wirklich gottverlassen.
