Es handelt sich um eine relativ einfache Wanderung auf gut ausgebauten Wegen durch den Sihlwald mit Blick auf den Zürichsee durch Wald und Wiesen. Eine ideale Herbst- oder Frühlingswanderung. Ab Felsenegg kann man als Alternative den "Planetenweg" (Sonnensystem im Massstag 1:1 Mrd. nachgestellt). anschliessen. Dieser führt bis zum Ütliberg.
