Vom Bahnhof Pontressina über die Schranke Richtung Roseg und darauf gleichrecht und auf der Spur aufsteigen. Diese Route ist im Winter trotz Wildschutzgebiet erlaubt.
Oben auf der Muottas Schlarigna schöner Blick zu den Skigebieten von St. Moritz und ins Oberengadin.
Die Route ist kaum Lawinengefährdet.
Der Abstieg auf dem Sommerweg über die Alp Staz und den Stazersee ist einfach zu bewältigen und sehr schön, vorbei an tausendjährigen Arven.
Vom Stazersee entweder nach St. Moritz oder nach Samedan ohne Schneeschuhe auf präparierten Winterwanderwegen.
