Uphill durchs Hühnerbachtal, dann steiler holpriger Trail zum Schieben. Es folgt eine längere Auffahrt zur Rotwandhütte. Schöne Blicke ins Karwendel; Rast an der Hütte, im Sommer bewirtschaftet. Lange Abfahrt ins Bächental und von dort auf geteerter Straße zum Sylvensteinsee und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
