Wanderung von der Bergstation Ugalift aus. Den Elsenkopf hat eine weitgehend baumfreie Kuppe mit einem tollen Rundumblick.
Der Aufstieg ist relativ steil am Grat hoch (rot weiß rot markiert), der Abstieg ein neuer Weg mit 15%-20%.
Alternative Abstiege gibt es über die Böhmert Alpe zum Ugalift Talstation oder über die Brandalpe (siehe MTB Touren) zum argenbach.
