Der dritte Tag unserer Alpenüberquerung führt uns zuächst über einen Höhenradweg und dann über eine breite Schotterstraße hinauf auf den Passo di Verva (2301 m). Eine gigantische Abfahrt mit vielen losen und großen Steinen erwartet uns. Danach folgt eine Straßenetappe (Teil des Giro d'Italia) hinauf auf den Passo Mortirolo.
