Die Tour beginnt am Ringberghaus geht über die Rimbachquelle, den Beerberg zum Döllberg auf annähernd gleichem Niveau. Die Wanderhütte auf dem Döllberg ist nur am Wochenende bewirtschaftet. Vom Döllberg geht es auf markierten Wanderwegen bergab bis in das Tal mit dem Bachlauf der "Finstere Erle". Von nun an geht es einem unmarkierten Wanderweg hinauf zur Landstraße L 1140. Von hier zurück über den Parkplatz Rimbachquelle, mit herrlichen Blick auf Goldlauter, zum Ringberghaus.
