Parkplatz Wirtsalm oberhalb von Bad Feilnbach vor dem Gatter links und über den Bach an der nächsten Abzweigung rechts und der Strasse zum Fanny Nickelsteig folgen.
Über die Wiese und weiter zur Schuhbräualm, die Alm lassen wir links liegen und steigen zur Rampoldlalm und weiter zur Rampoldplatte, von da an kurze Querung bis ein felsiges Stück bis zum Ausstieg nach oben leitet. Rechts weg und eine schöne Wanderung bis kurz vor die Alm.
Dann Schlußanstieg zum Wendelstein und weiter zum Gipfel (Radio und Fernsehstation), über den Panoramaweg wieder abwärts zur Alm und ins Jenbachtal bis zum Parkplatz
