Unser kleiner Rundgang in Schladming beginnt beim Parkplatz der sich wenige Meter nördlich vom Schladminger Rathaus befindet. Entlang der Schulgasse nach Osten schauen wir uns kurz nach dem Kreisverkehr das sehenswerte Zielstadion der Planai an. Danach gehen wir in westliche Richtung, halten und beim Kreisverkehr links, und erreichen das in der Coburg Straße gelegene Rathaus. 100m beginnt der sehr schöne Hauptplatz in Schladming. Durch die Neugestaltung der Fußgängerzone, welche 1995 abgeschlossen wurde, hat sich das Stadtbild entsprechend dem Zeitgeist der Wirtschaft und des Fremdenverkehrs weitgehend verändert.
